Kitchen Cook Volunteers play a crucial role in the café.

Their responsibilities include preparing foods based on the seasonal menu, which involves grilling, cooking, and frying items from a short order menu.

As a kitchen cook volunteer you would work closely with the Café Trainer/Manager and young adults with disabilities.

ION Smart Business Solutions

As a trusted Ricoh Official Business Partner, Ion Smart Business Solutions has been helping transform businesses for over 30 years. Now they are transforming lives at STEPS Pathways College as the official Education Partner.

The business's directors, Andrew Gardner, Jason Van der Walt, and Andrew Millar, understand the importance of business giving back to its community and the value of connection.
"I think to a large extent a lot that we take for granted in terms of opportunities to study and opportunities to enter the workplace are denied to people with a disability, and unless that is brought to the fore and unless people have conversations about that, I think it will continue to happen.

"That's why we think the work that STEPS are doing is phenomenal because it highlights some of the challenges faced by people with disabilities and goes a long way to remedying some of those challenges." — Jason Van der Walt, ION Smart Business Solutions

Charity Partners

We’re creating a brighter future for people with a disability and autism through Australia’s first and only boarding College dedicated to teaching skills for an independent life.

You see we think that people with a disability and autism can be more, do more, and live better lives.

Currently, the opportunities for people with a disability and autism are limited.  We want your help to change that and help us provide hope to individuals, families and carers for a brighter future.
